Thanks for your response.
And so to clarify, I did do simply what you directed (applications>microsoft 2011 folder etc) but ran into the aforementioned issue/ inability to open as Pavanpreet. Looking at the past responses, it looks similar I just have to look until the issue resolves itself, and try again?
So connected to this, it sounds like I dont even need to have my Microsoft 365 subscription that I take if that version needs 10.14.0 or later on OSX (mine is 10.9.5)? in other words, is microsoft 2011 just function of my macbook and I don't need that subscription? just want to clarify

Office 2016 and Function 2019 applications are found as private applications in the Applications binder
Part 2011 applications are in a binder within the Applications folder. That binder's name is Microsoft Office 2011
The screenshot is from the installer of Office 2019. The installer should not let you lot become past this screen considering you do non have Mac OS 10.14.3 or higher. Your Office 2011 installation remains untouched.

So I did do just that, and the mistake code came upward (meet screenshot). I dont have whatever other microsoft folders likewise 2011 (presumably considering the cant even download). I tried clicking 'Retry' multiple times, and it doesnt load annihilation different.
Whatsoever thoughts on how to proceed?

Going back to my original mail service, I have a Microsoft 365 subscription. I got it when I needed to utilise word last year, and have been paying for it since.
